Hot New Sports Cars in 2012

Sports cars in 2012 are going to be sleek and fast, with well-appointed interiors and hot, new detailing.

If you like retro cars, you are going to see the 45th Anniversary Edition of the Chevrolet Camaro. This one is cherry, with its dual-colored rally stripe, leather-accented upholstery and its 45th Anniversary logo. Look for this one in the summer of 2012.

Nissan has also stepped it up a notch with a new model of the GT-R sports car. It comes equipped with several promising mechanical upgrades, including a 70 horsepower improvement, more efficient intake, a better sound system and much more. The new GT-R is set for a January, 2012 release.

For you Corvette fans, the 2012 Centennial Special Edition Corvette is loaded with improvements. This Corvette package includes brand new seats, better tires, a racing spoiler, a trimmed steering wheel, a navigation system, Bluetooth, a USB port, and an upgraded sound system. Dealers are offering great incentives for purchasing this beauty.

The 2012 Audi A5 is a noticeable improvement from the A4. It has a four-cylinder, turbocharged engine, standard leather seats, and a sunroof. Variable transmission is an option for sports-car drivers who desire a smoother ride.

Toyota has joined Subaru in bringing out a joint-project sports car with the best technology of both automakers. Ford is turning out a sporty 2013 Focus ST which will probably be unveiled in late 2012, and Mitsubishi is introducing their Evo XI, a sporty hybrid for all you green sports-car enthusiasts.

The upcoming year is bringing a long line of affordable sports cars under 60,000. Many of these will be able to go head to head with their high-priced competition.
